This situation was precisely what Trump wanted for Daddy Putin when he launched the Iran War.

The framing is a bit weird:
Firstly, Trump/ the US cannot have known on 28th July of an incident that will happen a week later and make that a criterion for delivering the requested Patriot missiles.
Secondly, the result, that none of the 28 russian missiles were shot down by Ukraine, doesn’t mean that the Ukrainian air defence missed their targets. They also may not have had the necessary means (e.g. Patriot missiles) to intercept them at all and were condemned to inactivity.

Trump knew exactly what he was doing for Putin by starting a war of choice with Iran and depleting our interceptor stocks.

It is blatant I don’t see why we need to pretend otherwise because it is dangerous to ever interpret Trump’s actions in good faith.

Sorry, but in my understanding, the headline reads “We won’t deliver you Patriot missiles as your air defence has failed to intercept all russian missiles” which is as I explained odd.

Trump knew exactly what he was doing for Putin by starting a war of choice with Iran and depleting our interceptor stocks.

        I agree.

            Well, yes and no.

He also started it to distract from the Epstein files and new revelations therein.

He also also started it (well really, jumped on the bandwagon, if we’re being technical) because Bibi twisted his arm to do it and sold him on the idea that it’d be easy peasy, and orangeboi is a fucking imbecile and easily manipulated,so he believed him.

The fact that it helps his handler is, I think, more of an incidental “benefit”.

Firing off all the interceptors for a bullshit war you started for no good reason IS MARKET MANIPULATION it is just pumping and dumping in the defense sector instead of the finance one…?

Once you start a war you have no choice about continuing. We are now stuck in this terrible situation.

The real question is why 3 years ago when we realized how much damage drones were doing didn’t we realize that we would need a lot more interceptors if we got involved in a war (including Ukraine continuing) and build the factories needed to build them.

Sure the exact situation we are in was not predictable. However war someplace sometime is very predictable. In turn that means the need for more patriot interceptors is predictable.

Says who? Trump could stop the war tomorrow, this is a nonsense point.

Trump chose to start this war and he could stop it at any time and he could tell Netanyahu to stop it at any time, he is unwilling to do so because is a coward and cannont back down for any reason because he is too afraid of how his ego will handle it.

A normal person in Trump’s position could absolutely stop a war they started, there is no demand that it continues that is written into the laws of physics or something!

Iran is firing missiles at US bases elsewhere even in various cease fires. They may well continue. Iran as made it clear they want to charge a toll to every ship crossing the strait of hormuz which is not a situation most people find acceptable. (most of the people harmed by this are not in the US).

Stopping the war now leaves the world in an unacceptably worse state. But I guess he can stop.
