France's next long-range strike weapon might get its first real trial on Ukraine's front line against Russian forces. According to French Aid to Europe, citing an anonymous source, prototypes of THUNDART, the system set to become the French Army's future
I don’t understand why more weapons companies arent doing this. Partner with Ukraine to live test and develop your weapons.
A few companies will avoid testing in Ukraine because they know they will fail. There already is a bunch of systems that already haven’t survived the conditions.
Examples-
Excalibur m982 guided artillery shell. Russia got so good at jamming them that less than 1 in 9 hit the target. At almost $100k per shell they are a massive waste of money.
Anduril Industries and Skudio haabe failed massively with their drones in Ukraine.

RCH155, Skynex, IRIS-T SLM and so forth come to mind. There are also a lot of drones from outside Ukraine, which are donated to them for testing and improvements. SMAP/T-NG is also going to see service in Ukraine first.
