    It’s a shame that none of these privacy oriented/right to repair phones have a headphone jack.

      Yup. I have FP6. I crammed usb-c dac into my earphone’s case. Can’t have it all I guess. But still a big fan.

        Do you remember which DAC you bought for it? I only have a non-DAC adapter that annoyingly activates Google Assistant when I plug it in and that I’ve been meaning to replace.

            Thanks! For anyone who’s reading this in the future, I found out that Fairphone sells their own adapters now, so this probably isn’t an issue for new customers (bought one, and it works well so far).

          Right, apparently USB-C still has support for analog audio signal but not many support it.

          So USB-C headphones have their own DAC. But using a DAC does have advantages because you avoid noise, and they can be really tiny.
