This is some wwi shit lol. This is literally how air combat started in wwi.
That’s crazy. The video shows one scene where you can see the big city not far off, and they shoot it down before it is able to do damage. Impressive imagery.
even if you skip the rest, please read the answer to the question posed by the headline:
You are currently fighting in Yak-52 training aircraft, which are being used in this war to shoot down enemy drones. For readers who are unfamiliar with your work, here is a brief explanation of how it works. The aircraft is piloted by a pilot, whilst an air gunner sits in the open-cockpit instructor’s seat. Enemy UAVs are mainly shot down by the gunner using a machine gun or, occasionally, a shotgun. The pilot flies as close as possible to the drone, after which the gunner engages the enemy drone from the air. Have I got that right?
war is hell and all, but I want to be the gunner for a few hours and also I’d like to point out how close this is getting to my ideal form of air combat.
Fuck pistols.
They should have lances.
With explosive tips.
You gotta actually joust.
Better yet each pilot should have a lancer in the back with different lances for different engagements.
Great interview!
