    Sigh. The Irish government has an unfortunate history of doing some pretty silly bullshit to attract foreign investment, and then continuing to defend that investment and the decisions around it until well past the point they ought (e.g., Apple’s European taxation adventure).

    I’m sure it’s all legit af this time, though.

      This is an issue on a local level, I can tell you that it is coming up politcally at low levels in other constituencies.
