So my username on reddit was u/IAmUser1234567 I had 17k+ Karma, i didn’t do anything they just banned my account. Now i guess they have created a digital fingerprint or marked my ip address, because if i create a new account it gets banned almost instantly.
I am loving lemmy(using Voyager on my android phone) so much. Reddit anyways now just contains shity cringe content, it is becoming like insta, I am happy to join lemmy family :)
I’m not surprised either. I just wish there was human intervention before a week long ban was enacted, rather than making me beg like a dog after
You can thank the teeming legions of genuinely hateful people flooding platforms everywhere for their mods/admins/etc. investing less and less time in pruning each individual (suspected) instance of hate.
You were the baby that was thrown out with the bathwater. I doubt your absence will impact their shareholder value.
