Yes, but everyone also knows Putin had to beg Trump to ask Zelensky to not disturb the parade. Quite the prestige hit for Putin. It’d been interesting to see the parade disturbed, but this’ll do fine as well.
Did that go through? Last I heard Putin/Russia did not follow through with that POW exchange. Zelensky followed with it is the responsibility of the USA to make sure it goes through, given that they guaranteed it to Ukraine in the negotiations.
TLDR Putin got Trump to hold Ukraine back, but at least Ukraine got 1000 POWs home.
