I don’t think it’s their choice tbh.
Both Russia and Ukraine have veto power over any peace deal. If Russia doesn’t agree to this, they will keep fighting. US and EU might put tripwire forces in Ukraine to deter future aggression but they won’t just enter the existing conflict.
