Specs: will sue you if you think of anything else while playing on it.
The history of Nintendo is a good read. They have always chosen technology that has been around for a while, they never tried to take any tech lead. Nintendo takes existing tech (affordable) and use it in a new and exciting ways.
Sad to see that Nintendo this time around takes old tech, but does not use it in any new way and charges premium. 😢
Okay. So will it run the eShop?
LOL “custom video processor by NVIDIA”
Don’t want us benchmarking already eh?
Too bad that guy who bought a leaked motherboard already did
Finally some specs! This being said I have close to no idea what these mean. How does it compare to, let’s say, a PS4?
PS5 is 5 years old. New Nintendo console comes out, how it compares to PS4. 😂
I mean it’s a portable device that sips less power. That’s a pretty bad faith comparison.
I often hear people compary pokemon artstyle with gamecube, i’m sure switch 2 has be compared with gamecube. Gamecube bigger, i’m sure gamecube has more power. I would choose a gamecube over a switch 2. Or maybe switch 2 is the second console of it’s serien. Let’s choose the ps2. Ps2 sold
160180200mio units. Probably more than switch 2. Well we see, maybe switch 2 sell more and is more powerful. Oh wait ps2 sold 220mio while i wrote this. What the fuck is this guy talking about?
That was a joke, sorry about that. I just think you can’t really compare consoles. You could compare games and their version. So final fantasy vii remake for ps4/ps5 and switch 2. But still does it really matter. If you haven’t played ff7R yet, you wait probably for a handheld version.
Stroke-posting
I thought I was way too high. Holy shit, thank you.
Do any of the Switch accessories, like the Pro Controller, work with the Switch 2?
They did note a few small things wouldn’t work, like waking the system remotely using the home button on an old JoyCon, but for actual playing, it should work fine.
Yes, They’ve shown videos of how to pair them (Exactly the same as you would on Switch 1) on the App they put out.
You can still use the Pro1 Controller and “Old” Joycons on the Switch2.
Awesome! Thanks for the response!
Let me guess… no Ethernet port. EDIT: nvm… “In TV mode, Nintendo Switch 2 can be connected using the wired LAN port on the dock.”
Lan ports have been standard, thankfully, since the Switch OLED.
