Has anyone played any of these games?

I saw (trailer of) the Netflix show, and I know there are some games in the series, but I don’t have much idea about how it is.

Well, in this specific case, it’s not a Nintendo published game, so no one is stopping them (the actual publisher) to release it any way they like.

Also, try all the weapons to find the one that you feel most comfortable with. You can change weapons any time.

Is it your first Monster Hunter game? They are somewhat of a niche games, and also take a bit to click, so give it some time and see if it’s something you’ll enjoy or not.

I will get digital but will probably pre-order, mainly just to pre-load the game.

Heh, that’s interesting. I have never been a huge pixel-art fan (though some of those look really good), so I won’t say it looks nice, but I love beat 'em up and run and shoot games, so happy about that.

Really glad to see anything Terminator again, I wonder how this game got made. Devs went to rights holder, or rights holder wanted some game made.

Well, I dropped it…

The game isn’t bad, but it isn’t great either. Also, the level design is kinda annoying. It’s not all linear, so one route will have some collectable / upgrade other will be the main path, without knowing which is which if you go the main path, it will make it so you can’t get the collectable without replaying the whole level again. There are also some levels underground where it’s all dark and you can only see small area around you, found it very annoying, but that’s more of a me thing then actual issue.

Also, combat, jumping, controls, all feel a bit umm… stiff, I guess.

If you like platformers, I think it’s worth a try, see some gameplay videos and give it a try if you like what you see.
