@robchapman @lgsp @LaVi @ciclismo well, change can happen by building better infrastructure (cycling lanes, public transport, etc), but it can also happen if the people force the public administration to adapt to their trends.
I come from a small town in Italy where cars dominated the road until 2000s. Then the local economic crisis forced people to reduce their budget and they started taking the bike more. As a result it is now a city with 100 km of bike lanes for 90k residents.

Ahhh it’s limited to young people. That makes a lot of sense if the government whishes a cultural change. And I believe it could be successful in Italy too. Many young people U30 would definitely appreciate 5k/€ and commute with an electric scooter instead.
