Since traffic laws where I live basically say that legally, bikes are cars, I doesn’t really make sense to follow the law when doing so puts me in more danger, for example how treating a stop sign as a yield is safer and how I might use a sidewalk if the road has no bike lane and has a speed of 60 km/h or more.
