Heavensward back in the day was 50 - 60 level content, and Stormblood after that was 60 - 70 level.
If anything you’ll be a bit overleveled as you go through that stuff. But that’s no biggie since the dungeons and whatnot are dialed in to your gear’s iLevel more than your base level.

Yeah, try them all (that you have access to). It’s really fun to see how they differ.
And after the base game you’ll get to play Heavensward - which is a fan favorite story. A lot of people like it the best of all of them, even. Though I’m an Endwalker kinda guy myself.

Regarding FFXIV, hopefully this is good news to you, but you still have dozens of hours of free play time.
The trial goes to level 70 and includes the first two expansions!
I’ll also be playing FFXIV because of the newest patch.
But beyond that, I have Ghost of Yotei to play. It’s been good far!

Oh no poor Amazon.*
*Would be happy to see Amazon disappear from this earth

You might try Ebay if it’s available where you are.
I just did a quick search and found some ~$30 which I think was around the MSRP.

That reminds me that I do have Shulk as well. I had just moved recently, and a lot of those things are still in a box.
Honestly, the Shulk may have better detail than the Noah and Mio. But I love Noah and Mio a little bit more anyway 🙂.

I ended up spending the $40 or whatever to get the Mio and Noah Amiibo, and they are sitting on my desk right now.
I’m so sad I didn’t get the steelbook case for the game when I had the chance. I had waffled because while I like XC2, it was just OK for me. I don’t know if I wanted to spend the extra money on the steelbook at the time. XC3 is in my top five favorite games, too, now.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3
I started a New Game + on Switch 2, and while it doesn’t have a resolution or graphical update (please, Nintendo), it now never has a frame dip so it does feel better to play.
This game is still probably my favorite of the last generation. I love these characters to death. It’s fun to see the story again from the start knowing where it’s going and to also to absolutely stomp everything because I started at level 88.
But yeah, the story is awesome, and it makes me have real feelings in a way basically no other game has done. So good.

This is going to be so good.
After basically going all of 2024 with the Switch 1 winding down its life cycle it’s fun to see new games again.

Nintendo just sold 3.5 million Switch 2s in about four days.
I think they’ll survive.

They seemed to have a lot of units available last weekend, so I’m sure that helped.
I’m really enjoying mine! It’s a good system.

I have been waiting to see if Splatoon 3 would get an update for Switch 2, so this is great!
Though I’m somewhat hesitant to spend $85 on the game plus the DLC.
I may end up trying to get a used copy of the game and THEN just buy the DLC separately.
The added app thing for Zelda turned out to be pretty cool. I was surprised. I’ve been using it to find the few last wells I missed and look up where those new Zelda audio memories are.
And then, of course, the koroks…

Tears of the kingdom feels so much better.
No stuttering at all in towns, buttery smooth framerates. Great HDR. It’s so good.

Got mine last night, and it’s great!
The system feels more premium, Mario Kart is really fun (and that map is huge!). Zelda at 60fps HDR is something else. It’s so smooth. I’m envious of people that get to play it this way for their first time. I’m going to go back and try to get more koroks.
I’m glad Nintendo has a system I don’t feel bad buying certain games on again!
Haven’t we kinda dealt with this issue already on discs?
I can’t think of a physical disc I have bought for my PS5 that does nothing more than download the game to the system once I put it in - with whatever current updated version it is. And I still have to put the disc in to verify I have the physical media - even though it never checks the disc after that point.
And you might say, “Well some of the discs have the whole game on them!” OK, sure. But they immediately download the latest updates once you install the game. And unless I have never seen it, I don’t think there’s a “roll back to X version” option anywhere.

For me, the truth is I barely notice I’m wearing a helmet, and cars barely notice me as a cyclist even exists.
So even if a helmet only does half of what it claims to do, I’ll take that chance in an accident with a giant metal box on the road.

Makes sense. The cards can hold a max of 64GB, so any game below that size should be on the card. Any game bigger will have a download.
I’m trying this app out now based on your comment, and so far it seems really nice. I may replace Voyager with it as well.
