Were those pants and shirts comfortable for fencing or physical activity in general?

I imagine so many bruises: new on top of old with many colors; patterns of bruises traipsing up and down the bodies of the students

I don’t know what I was expecting, but for a moment my eyes fooled me and I thought that pair centre-centre were duelling with sausages.
