Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces (SSO) carried out Kyiv’s deepest strike into Russia so far in the full-scale war, attacking a natural gas facility 3,200 kilometers (1,988 miles) from the Ukrainian border on Sept. 9, the military said.
Ukraine’s General Staff announced a successful strike on the Novy Urengoy Gas Condensate Treatment Plant (GCTP) in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

I like that it went from having kyiv surrounded and America offering to get Zelenskyy out of there in '22 to Ukraine going this is a Eurasian war now in '26. Is the russian kill count 1.5 million yet?
1.5 million casualties, meaning dead or wounded. Last I checked the dead were around 400k, but the general rule is 1/3rd of all casualties so half a million dead is a reasonable guess.
Not like russians care a lot about getting their wounded out to begin with. A lot of them either die from the wounds, get captured or get sent right back into the blender.
“Just throw people at an enemy which has a lot less people than us” is a pretty traditional Russian strategy to try and win purelly by manpower attrition.
Of course, that shit only works when human life has zero value for them other than their utility value as cannon fodder.
