    While “rotten cabbage” seems to be a correct descriptor, I was somewhat aghast to not be included in the potato munchers. I mean… people are out there calling us potatoes… but then I looked it up and Germany is in the lower midfield of how much potatoes countries in the EU eat.

    I’m tipping my hat to you Latvia. Respect. 112,7 kg per person per year. That is nearly double the 57,4 kg per person per year we eat in Germany.

    Edit: HAH! That seemed to have been older data, take THAT Latvia! Instead I must now bow to our new starchy overlords, the Poles.
