    Basically the fishing industry in Iceland is against it, and they employ a lot of people and have a lot of political weight. It doesn’t matter that they would be more secure joining the EU, and doesn’t matter that they have to follow EU rules without having a seat at the table. The fishing must go on undisturbed.

      They should speak to the fishing industry in the UK. Since Brexit they’ve been hammered. Day 1 they were complaining, but they extremely vocal for the leave campaign not long before.
