However, after signing the documents, the servicemen faced completely different conditions: “Money was systematically demanded from the servicemen. Some were told to transfer a part of their payments for the needs of the unit, while others, according to the case materials, were offered to pay for the opportunity to remain in the rear.” Isabella stated that she is increasingly learning about cases of deception during contract signings: servicemen were promised service in the rear, guarding facilities, or deployment to a specific military unit, but after the paperwork was finalized, they were sent into assaults. The woman urged citizens not to believe the promises of such recruiters and not to sign documents without understanding the real conditions of service: “Verbal promises have no legal force.
