The Albanian Parliament confirmed that the attack “aimed at deleting data and compromising several internal systems.” For this reason, the Albanian National Cybersecurity Authority subsequently announced that it had established a working group “to analyze the case and that teams are on site to conduct technical analyses and take the necessary measures regarding this situation.” The authors of “HomeLand Justice,” according to Microsoft, are linked to the Iranian government. In various Telegram messages, the group states that “when you support terrorists, you must know that you will pay the price, in every respect.” The New York Times also covered the issue, noting that American intelligence agencies are monitoring the possibility that Tehran might activate allied groups in various regions to attack American interests or their allies.
President Zoran Milanović reacted harshly to the Israeli ambassador’s request to investigate Iranian diplomats in Zagreb, prompting Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar to accuse him of spreading “hateful language” that “reflects an anti-Semitic stance.” Milanović had previously criticized comments of the Israeli ambassador in Zagreb regarding the Iranian embassy in the Croatian capital, stating, “We do not want infections and germs from other people in Croatia, neither Israelis nor Iranians.” This is not the first time Milanović has openly criticized the Jerusalem government over the Palestinian issue: on February 23, as Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, he had already decreed the cessation of military cooperation with Israel “due to the unacceptable actions of the Israeli army and the unprecedented violation of all norms of international humanitarian law.”

@middlemanSI @mapto@feddit.bg would have been easier to hold off if Israel was not continuously reinforcing it, don’t you think?
