Trump, Witkoff and Kushner seem to want to enlarge their fortunes in cooperation with Russia at the expense of Ukraine. Putin’s financial advisor Kirill Dmitiriev has apparently invented an idea of $12 trillion in US-Russia cooperation, while Russia is merely a $2 trillion economy. Only senile Trump can be dumb or mad enough to take such nonsense seriously, but none of his aides dare to say that the emperor is naked – and mentally deficient. This is both stupidity and attempted larceny.

Ultimately, Trump wants to get the Nobel Peace Prize, which he will of course never get since everything he does runs contrary to democracy, freedom and peace.

The big fault behind this idea is that Ukraine still needs Europe to buy military equipment from the US. Europe is currently building our defense industrial complex which won’t be finished for years because it takes time.

Granted, the new drone factories going up around Europe in collaboration between Europeans and Ukrainians are up and running already, but that is not munitions, that is not vehicles, that is not rations, that is not all the other necessities to defend and push back an invading force.

Add to the fact that the latest move by Musk to block Russians from using Starlink might be undone too, as he’d definitely give Russian terminals back that access and block Ukrainian terminals - if given the right incentive by an irate and opportunistic POTUS.

Europe has to be tactful, and so does Ukraine. Thankfully Zelensky knows this and continues to perform for the gallery - because he is no fool. Europe does not have the capability to provide Ukraine all it needs to defend itself - yet.

The long game being keeping POTUS in his aristocratic ballroom fantasy, until Europe can supercharge Ukraine to absolutely decimate the Russians. Once that defence complex is realized, it’s time to cut off Uncle Sam and go for the Russian jugular.

Does Europe have anti-drone lasers? I feel like that could be an economical solution. Just needs to be recharged, not constantly supplied with ammo.

Anti-ballistic missile lasers would also be a good idea.

I believe most are chemically pumped. Producing an electrically pumped laser, of sufficient power is not an easy task. Making it small enough to be useful is even harder.

The problem is that each shot costs more in materials than the drone. Lasers are also quite easy to counter, if deployed in mass (mostly by adding reflective foil coatings).

Exactly, you have to be strategic and tactful. You don’t kick anyone out of anything, but you play along as far as you need to go.

And the US is not an enemy, just a very small part of the current administration is.
