Ritter Sport is a brand of chocolate bar from the family-owned Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co. KG, which has its headquarters in Waldenbuch, Germany. The company was founded in 1912 by Clara and Alfred Eugen Ritter and has been family-owned ever since. Andreas Ronken has been the CEO since 2015.

Wikipedia seems to align with what their webpage states as well.

Just looking to confirm that I am still supporting a European brand and not nestle.

With Tony I agree. But Ritter Sport still is working with Russia.

I know and yes, i am aware of that. The have a blog online about it.

TL;dr: Stopping exports to Russia would have cost 150 to 200 Jobs in Germany and Austria.

They only sell there, don’t produce

          Their solution is currently:

We donated the profits generated and realized in Russia in 2022 and 2023 to aid organizations active in Ukraine. In 2022, this amounted to around €1.51 million, and in 2023 to around €940,000. The donations went to: Humedica e.V., Help e.V., Ebersberger Förderverein Interplast e.V., and Osteuropahilfe der Landkreise Starnberg, Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen und München e.V.

I don’t have a source so maybe not true but I kept seeing outrage on LinkedIn by commenters on their company posts that Ritter Sport kept up operating in Russia. Something like that.
