The Trump administration indefinitely suspended immigrant visa processing from 75 countries – see which nations have been affected

Albania, Bosnia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia among the counties that have immigration procedures suspended. Clearly EU countries are out of this list, and this is probably for political reasons. But so is Serbia.

The other notable exception: Ukraine in the only ex-Soviet, non EU county that’s not on the list. On the list is also Trump-friendly Russia, which put huge effort in getting him elected.
