POV: Hunting for an occupier in the autumn forest

📍Lyman direction

Autumn forest. A normal walk? Not exactly. This is a POV from a pilot of the SIGNUM battalion.

An FPV-drone flies through the thicket, where every branch can become the end of the mission. One move — and it’s over. But no, skill and steel nerves are at work here.

Traces of the enemy. Military gear. And here he is — an occupier who decided to play hide-and-seek.

Well, the rules are simple: whoever hid — will be found. And whoever got caught — is no longer a player.

🇺🇦In this war, the one who wins is not the one who hides, but the one who possesses skill. And skill — is on our side.

    That’s horrifying.

Being chased through the forest by a small whirlwind, but once it catches up, you fucking die.

Read an interview the other day, with a teenager who said he’d killed 200 Russians this way. It’s essentially a video game for them.

But you’re right, that would be terrifying.

Man I didn’t know the drones could fly through that dense of brush without crashing, that’s impressive

the one who wins is not the one who hides

ironically, if they had hid when they first heard the drone, he might have lived. you’re in camo, drop down and cover yourself with whatever is close by. leaves, branches, dirt, anything to break up your shape. take off your helmet and cover your face. these are the things that our brains recognize, without them the drone operator might have looked right at him and not seen him.
