Give it a few warnings then just shoot it down. Turkey did so and now they don’t have Russian problems.

Exactly this. I think the rest of us need to be less afraid and start shooting russians that violate our borders instead of asking them nicely to leave.
Same goes for ships cutting cables. I would enjoy seeing one of those ships being promptly sunk. No questions asked. Essentially telling russia “We know what you’re doing, and we’re done fucking around”.
They’re Russian nazis! They only respect power. You have to shoot down the planes immediately on their entering the airspace, and continue to do so.
They don’t have the manpower or equipment to launch a strike on the entire western front, with Ukraine dismantling their equipment daily. The best they can hope for is to tie up resources protecting a border that isn’t under actual threat, instead of sending that cash/equipment to Ukraine.

They weren’t over any lands, and it wasn’t exceptional, probably more linked to the recent u.s. announcement to cut off some security assistance to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia(, all NATO members bordering Russia). Perhaps some kind of occasion to seek a funding(, $220M,) from the e.u. parliament or sthg i.d.k.
