Possibly? I’m no expert in the history of theatres, but it seems intuitive that the Anglo-Saxons would’ve seen old Graeco-Roman theatre ruins in Britain and used that as a template.
On the other hand, it’s a pretty simple design - may just be convergent evolution, or whatever the architectural equivalent is.
