  • Its not really about the money, just that “life changing psychedelic experience” is being turned into a commercial commodity.

I do understand it, the tourism was already happening, shamans in high demand. Might as well streamline the experience.

    It just feels wrong though.

    This is from Wikipedia:

“It is believed that the Shipibo-Konibo are among the earliest practitioners of Ayahuasca ceremonies, with their connection to the brew and ceremonies surrounding it dating back centuries, perhaps a millennium.[19]

Some members of the Shipibo community have taken to the media to express their views on Ayahuasca entering the mainstream, with some calling it “the commercialization of ayahuasca.” Some of them have even expressed their worry regarding the increased popularity, saying “the contemporary ‘ayahuasca ceremony’ may be understood as a substitute for former cosmogonical rituals that are nowadays not performed anymore.”[20]

  • It doesn’t need to be, there is reasonable proof that humans and other mammals naturally synthesises (trace amounts off) dmt, which are presumed to be used and broken down incredibly quickly. We still don’t know why, what its used for or have hard proof where its produced (pineal gland is main suspect for having all ingredients in theory)

In theory something could trigger an effect that stops it from breaking down or produce it at a faster rate, therefore triggering psychedelics effects with out the consumed substance containing anything psychedelic itself.

Dmt is known for seeing (machine) elves, does not sound that far away from seeing mini people.

  • This seems to be an unpopular opinion but i personally had someone block me for presumably being too friendly and sincere, after an initial comment where i had agreed with them and defended their downvoted comment.

A second person blocked me after i pointed out that the person they where calling ai/a bot is in fact a well loved moderator of the community they tried to be a part of and they where simply misreading the room.

I don’t really mind that people remove themselves but it does worry me that tolerance of others have gotten so low that ideologically similar people will label each other enemies based on very basic misunderstandings of topics they agree about.

Please read it again, this is far from crowd sourced filtering.

This is “your opinion is wrong, this is your first warning to get back in line”

Crowd sourced filtering means the crowd choses what is and isn’t bad content but this is fully transparent preparing for Gleichschaltung to cull the voices of dissent and hinder social support for rebellion and the spread of footage showing proof of state sanctioned violence.
