??? the Mario movie was good. I think Hollywood as a whole is doing a lot better with video game adaptations now (let’s not talk about Borderlands), like everyone expected the Minecraft movie to crash & burn but it turned out to be a fun movie for anyone who played the game a decent amount

Sorry if this has already been discussed but is anyone else worried that “Nicole’s” pictures are from the webcam on a compromised computer? They’re always from the same angle and she’s not really posing for most of them

Season 2 was a bit better and the last couple episodes were unironically great, which is why it was kinda surprising they cancelled it. It was just starting to get good

As a huge Halo fan, I wasn’t even upset that Master Chief took his helmet off. No one ever said he’s supposed to be treated like Mohammed or something. I think people were more upset about the fact he spent the majority of the show not wearing any armor at all, because the writers thought a Halo soap opera was a good idea

Nintendo has definitely fallen victim to the corporate trend of minimalism. The system UI like you said is one example, another is the fonts they use in first party games. Nintendo used to love using blocky fonts, especially in Mario games, but now they prefer super boring, simplistic fonts
