Well, you are entitled to your opinion. I find it perfect as it is.

You have to know some RSS feeds and insert them in the app.

If you used RSS before, you prbably have a list of favorite feeds already.

When done, you can easily export the config in a human readable json format.

I’m not sure what you mean, I use Feeder on android, that’s all I need. Can recommend. No need to self host anything…?
