I’m surprised by South Korea not using Korean, and slightly surprised by Japan not using Japanese.

Same for me trying to figure out why Italy would go with Portuguese.

I feel time zones would be documented better than local lunch times.

Also, generally people move from lower developed countries to higher developed countries. There is far more reason for someone to come from the Philippines, India or Honduras than to come from a nation like Japan.

That doesn’t explain why some of these countries are green.

It looks like the displacement slowed down, but there’s 55 years between the first and second picture, and only 10 between the second and third.
