It’s kinda hard finding sources since you have to scroll through pages of english language news sources that report exclusively on israel with articles on how the european population collectively stand with israel. So obvious the propaganda if you’re not in their bubble.

The attention for detail is impressive

I heard they put in a massive effort to get votes, all kinds of government agencies posting on social media how to vote for Israel (even though you’re not allowed to vote on your own countries entry), they supposedly ran ads in European countries during the voting time frame and I have also seen a pic of a huge ad on times Square (yes, the one in the USA) calling people to vote for Israel.

I don’t watch because I want to know who wins, perfect example of the journey being worth more than the destination.

I watched it in my own language again, every year afterwards i think 'damn, should really watch the uk version again. British humour is quite alright so is Graham Norton.

Yes roughly, but especially where there is an overlap you can’t really anymore. On the interactive version it is answered precisely, but I don’t see the point of graphing on which coast it is; I can already see that on the map. It would make sense if it were a table for example.

Following this community really confirms my believe that data visualization is a trade that’s not easily mastered. Making it easy to read but not pretty is almost as easy as making it pretty but not very insightful. Making it easy to understand, meaningful and also pretty to look at is incredibly difficult.

What’s the point of having data split over different colours/coasts? Rather had more info on the circles’ sizes, but ok
