Oh yes. I was an N64 kid in the 90s and Starfox was the first game I had. Played the shit out of it. The new one so far feels very faithful to the original while being an improvement in every way.

I checked out the Starfox demo. Holy hell. It looks absolutely beautiful and plays amazingly well. I had neither high nor low expectations for this game but I might have to get it.

You’ve never played any N64 game? Not even on NSO?

Why would it affect the rating? Skulls and ghosts and a few blades aren’t exactly M for mature material.

I’m pretty sure it doesn’t hold up as a film per se, as it seemed like a bunch of set pieces loosely strung together. But… I don’t care.
One of my favorite podcasts was discussing the Mario movies and they came to this same conclusion. One of them said that criticizing them or any other “childrens” movies makes about as much sense as criticizing “Mary Had a Little Lamb.” It’s something you do because it’s fun and passes time, you enjoy it, then it’s done. It’s not really meant to have substance or be important.

Bit of a different one, but I have four demos downloaded and lined up for tonight!
DK Bananza
Tomadachi Life
Star Wars Outlaws
Pragmata
I haven’t really played demos in forever and it’s already making me nostalgic for when I was a kid in the 90s. Looking forward to trying these out and reporting back!

There’s more appetite now than ever before. Over the half the total sales of the series are BOTW and TOTK. There’s a whole generation of fans for whom this era is the definitive era of Legend of Zelda.

Ok so why are you even here?
Because it’s full of energy.

It’s going to be a huge mess, and that’s before class-action suits from the people even get involved.

Yes indeed!

Red Dead Redemption. The Switch 2 update is looking pretty great so far. And it’s impossible not to start a new RDR2 save after playing through RDR1, so that’s a plus as well.
Well it does contain a psychedelic drug, just not one that we’ve identified yet.
