Oh I thought that Meta reveals your chat history to another person. Good thing I don’t use Meta AI.
They died with principle and honour. And how did USSR die and remembered for if you think they are so great and infallible?
But USSR is dead. How is that accomplishment?
And yet the entire USSR failed and died massively anyway?
Cuba is still authoritarian. Their biotech research is pretty amazing though, in spite of sanctions and Castro’s obsession with producing a supercow.
Commies are cool, as it turns out.
Kinda depends on what kind of commie. Authoritarians like CCP, Bolsheviks and the Kim family? Never. But the Kronstadt sailors who died fighting the hypocrisies of the Bolsheviks, and the Japanese Communist Party who chose the peaceful route to try to gain power? They are cool.
I seriously want this to happen. I have tried this several times but I did not get the intended results. I heard that their programmers patched, so to speak, to prevent the interlocutor short circuiting the AI troll.
As a guy, I do recognise that men are disadvantaged in many areas and need to be put on equal footing with women-- like courts disproportionately award custody of children to mothers, regardless of how unfit the mother is to be a caregiver. But broadly speaking from my pespective, women are still at more disadvantage. I used to live in a bad part of my city for many years and have had little to no issues. However, it is a different story from women I spoke who got harrased, and another hit on the head. They said they will avoid going to the city ever again. I remember sharing the accounts of these women to other men, and the men were surprised because their experience is the complete opposite. Women are still seen as weak. And in the corporate hierarchy, men (of tall statures) disproportionately make up the board of directors and executive roles.
they’re not capable of self reflection
You missed the part where I said it is for the readers, not the cultists. It is not about convincing these ideologues, it is to warn the readers why the ideas of these cultists are bad.
A broken clock is right twice a day. And it is not like the Hungarian freedom fighters are mujahideen turned Taliban.
It is not to validate them, it is to discredit them and provide red flags to would-be readers how dangerous their ideas are.
If you know what you are arguing and argue with tankies/Nazis in good faith, nine times out of ten they will eventually lose their temper and make fools of themselves. There is no need to be hostile to begin with, they just defeat themselves basically because their ideologies are totally flawed (kinda like in real life).
And France has the most number of public holidays in Europe.
My Polish mate says there is no regionalism in Poland unlike what you would see in other countries; but said everyone hates the Warsaw people.
I doubt Trump cutting off Intel would have made any difference. Russia already reclaimed 40-60% of Kursk before Trump backstabbed Ukraine. It was only a matter of time that Russia recapture Kursk territories from Ukraine.
Edit: the bigger question is, how will this affect Ukraine in the negotiating table after they pull out from Kursk.
I have been following the war in Ukraine since the beginning. From the look of it, I think Russia ran out of steam. Their offensives slowed down in Kharkiv and even on eastern Ukraine. These areas would be reinforced after Kursk is done and I doubt Sumy will be attacked. In some sense, the attack in Kursk worked a little bit to draw Russian resources away from other fronts.
Maybe some of our “leaders” should take note.
That’s the thing, many politicians don’t care.
Remember kids, this is why you still need money. This is literally how the Soviet Union collapsed and why China today became a state capitalist.
That’s why in spite of protests against Trump, we should not forget the true power behind the throne, the ones who actually pull the strings. Trump is only the patsi. This isn’t fascism in the traditional sense where one man runs the show, it is the faceless oligarchs who do.
I think that’s why it is crucial to also include the anti-oligarchy message alongside the “no kings” messaging.
