I just wish that learning about this wasn’t in opposition to people who believe they understood what science even is. To me, it felt like getting a degree in life sciences was like learning a language that the general public thought they already spoke, but when they tried, it was only jibberish. It was hard to find a starting point to explain it to them, and they were adamant about what they thought they “knew”.
