I’ve seen this specific plane at my local airfield which rarely handles planes larger than Beechcraft. It was literally a must-see local attraction for the 3 weeks it was here. Crazy huge.

Encephalotrocity@biglemmowski.winOPto Ukraine@sopuli.xyz•Denmark to send unarmed soldiers to Ukraine for drone warfare trainingEnglish0·3 months agoSignals intelligence is a whole specialization, and if that isn’t enough simple espionage will suffice. I’m not saying Russia will send a missile to the exact coords of someone controlling a drone from their home in Copenhagen. I’m saying simply the announcement that volunteers are engaging soldiers remotely from NATO cities might be considered ‘proper’ grounds for war which is why we haven’t done so already (or if we have kept damn quiet for this reason).
Encephalotrocity@biglemmowski.winOPto Ukraine@sopuli.xyz•Denmark to send unarmed soldiers to Ukraine for drone warfare trainingEnglish1·3 months agoThis is technically feasible. IRC the US uses satellite comms to control predator drones across the globe from their mainland. There are 2 issues that immediately come to mind:
- Latency - Depends on the quality of the link between pilot and end point transmitter, and the increased risks for jamming/hacking, and
- Would be an act of war prompting probable orc military retaliation (along the lines of “they’re controlling drones from apartments in Moscow so now apartments are fair game?” logic).

AP, Reuters, Kyiv Independent are reputable news agencies. You need to look more at the source than the publisher. “Government officials says…” articles are factually ‘true’. The official said that. Lies? Corroborating evidence? Critical thinking is your job as much as it is the reporter’s.

Encephalotrocity@biglemmowski.winto Ukraine@sopuli.xyz•The text of the Minerals Deal between Ukraine and USAEnglish261·4 months agoMy understanding is that the US maintains control over the fund. As such, IMO, it is likely they plan to spend the money on US contractors helping to rebuild UA. At first glance this may seem mutually beneficial, but it still means the funds are getting pulled away from UA instead of being spent towards UA contractors doing the rebuilding.
I’m just guessing though. I’m keeping an eye out for any analysis articles published by a reputable news agency for clarity.

I suggest you volunteer with the War Amps (edit: or equivalent Amputee support organization) to broaden your understanding of what is actually possible by people with human spirit.
They can be. The word ‘round’ refers to a single shot fired by a weapon. Artillery pieces are weapons so a shell is a round in this case.
