Just about every facet of their Soviet military inheritance has been seriously diminished or depleted at this point, with the exception of their nuclear warheads. I can’t see them ever recovering from this war.

The 80s isn’t too bad a vintage - the M1 and M1A1 Abrams are from around then.
They’re fielding really old shit like T-62s and T-55s though.
Gotta wonder how bad the situation is with desertion and how well locked-down they have their penal soldier pipeline. I’d be wanting to kill whoever I had to with whatever I could get my hands on to escape, but that’s easy to say with nothing at stake and I’m sure at least a handful have tried.
Hopefully not chemical weapons. I know Russia has used CS gas on the battlefield and legally that is “chemical warfare” but let’s not pretend that’s on the same level as fucking Sarin.
Some really lethargic reactions to being shot at and having your comrades drop. And again, appears that at least some of them don’t have rifles.
Target the bank transfers going out to these rats. Let’s see how loyal they are to based tradcon Russia when the money faucet turns off.
Sad. Kids that young are blameless, of course.
These parades of captured equipment are also kind of pathetic. They desperately need to convince their people that they’re winning and beating back the NATO-globalhomo hordes.
“We get to keep our spoils, but you have to give yours up. It’s only fair, comrade.”
There’s almost 1.5 billion people in China. No, despite their efforts I don’t think they can keep tabs on every single one, much less act upon that information.
I don’t think 155 people is enough to allege direct Chinese support for Russia. Maybe if they were all in advisory positions, but they seem to be cannon fodder. Likely volunteers or people tricked/pressed into service.
There are many more Western volunteers fighting for Ukraine right now, and that’s not reason to take allegations of “NATO troops” being involved seriously.
They probably just assume abusing civilians in occupied areas is standard military practice.
My guess would be something that sniffs the radio signals that are controlling the craft, then spoofs the signal that makes it pitch into the dirt, though that might make a more violent descent.
“EW pod” makes it sound like Lockheed developed it, when its probably something like a Flipper Zero taped to the bottom or some shit. They’re making these things by the thousands and they expect a high attrition rate, I don’t know how much sense it makes for either side to embed advanced tech in these things.
Fucking Baghdad Bob had more integrity than this.
Every single Ukrainian who has so much as spit-shined a boot for the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be thrown in a labor camp indefinitely. The only reason I could see this not being the case is if the Russians cannot logistically handle that internment.
At this point I think a clean break from the US is probably one of the best outcomes. Don’t give these degenerate cretins anything, they will use whatever position they have to crowbar in more and more exploitation until they have everything. No calls, no visits, no deals. Make us a pariah.
Amputees can absolutely accomplish a lot and live fulfilling lives. But it is a disability at the end of the day. No professional military would allow amputees into combat arms unless their recruiting pool was in danger of collapse. Which, after almost 3 years of war, it likely is, for both sides.
I dunno man. When Russia sends crippled men to the front it’s desperate and pathetic, when Ukraine allows it it’s honorable and inspiring?
That guy pictured has no hands. I just don’t see how he can overcome that to the point where he’s not a liability and danger to himself and his comrades.
Lmao, weren’t Russians using their own line charges to bomb apartment buildings like a year back?
Using your equipment for the role it was designed for? Imagine.
The Third Reich used lots of beasts of burden for their logistics as well. Makes sense when you want to save your oil and steel for fighting vehicles because your industrial base ain’t all that.
A little surprised to see thermal optics on a suicide drone, I guess it’s the cheapo digital kind like you can buy on Amazon and plug into your iPhone. The good stuff is quite expensive, several times the cost of the drone and payload.
Might have hidden successfully if the drone didn’t have them…and if he went prone in the grass instead of freezing in the middle of a dirt road.
