  • “patent pending”

Includes “Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire”

The article doesn’t go into the details but it doesn’t look good. Including how happy you feel into a final metric of how well you can process data doesn’t seem rigorous.

"This 80 year old is happy and doesn’t know his own name so we will rank him higher than this woman who is still practicing law and playing chess at grandmaster level but is depressed and not sleeping well. "

  • Given that they use an array of magnets that can rotate freely, it’s not “breaking” the law. At a distance the magnets are random and exert a force to lateral movement. Move the magnet array closer and the magnets align to the magnet below and the force changes.

It’s like saying a ball on a hill violates Amonton’s law. At the top of the hill you can push it easily. Push a little more such that it rolls down the hill and now in the valley of the hill you need more force to move it because pushing sideways means you are trying also push it uphill.

The magnets once flipped do not unflip when pulled back from the magnetic surface.

  • You just seamlessly switched from plastic straws specifically to all microplastics from all sources.

No, you threw out a concentrated localized source of microplastics by saying, “Its just straws.” That village is covered in thousands of miles of fiber. Most plastic, some glass.

How much do plastic straws contribute to microplastics?

So if I shredded pounds of plastic and a little fiber glass and sprinkle it from the air on your house it doesn’t matter because straws?

GTFO. You’d be the first person crying to the government about how your lawn is ruined.

We’re talking about a village covered in fiber optics.

If that’s glass fibers in that nest, the baby birds will be dead.
