I was inspired to make this by articles like this one and cases I read in these two reports from Human Rights Watch, some of which I’ll detail here:

In 2006, a 13-year old girl from Ogden, Utah was arrested for rape for having consensual sex with her 12-year-old boyfriend. Her 12-year-old boyfriend was found guilty of violating the same law for engaging in sexual activity with her.

In Georgia, a 26-year-old married woman was made to register as a sex offender for life and had to move from her home because as a teenager she had oral sex with a willing fellow high school student when she was 17 and he was 15.

As one individual who was convicted of statutory rape at age 16 for having consensual sex with his 14-year-old girlfriend told Human Rights Watch, “We were in love. And now we are married. So it’s like I am on the registry for having premarital sex. Does having premarital sex make me a danger to society? My wife doesn’t think so.”

Dan M.’s story: I was convicted of statutory rape when I was 17. The girl was 15.

        Do you honestly not see how fucking weird you are? Why do you know so much about my life? Why do you care this much? There’s probably been thousands of people who have disagreed with me these last four years, maybe even tens of thousands. Only one guy decided to whittle through my commentary, figure out who I am, and stalk me all over the internet for a year though. Have you stopped to consider how unhealthy it is how badly you miss me when you can’t find my accounts?

        There’s no way you even think I’m a danger to anyone anyway. At some point, likely quite a while ago now, you had to have realized that nobody would advocate about the things I do, leave a paper trail connected to his identity all over the internet, and simultaneously prey on minors. Read Farson’s Birthrights (just kidding, I know you can’t read). He had five kids of his own, expressed way more extreme ideologies than I ever have about adolescent and even child sexuality, and died at the age of 90 with nary a sex offense to his name. Turns out it’s perfectly possible to think things should be different while adhering to the way things are.

        But the truth is, you’re determined to perceive me as some sort of a danger just so you can perceive yourself as some sort of superhero. As I already told you once before, you’re not. You’re just some weirdo stalker who draws gay shit for a gay videogame and I have way more than enough ammunition to prove it.

        If you want to do something productive, shit, the age of consent is 16 in your home state - the exact age that it is in 29 additional states, the exact age that it is in over 80% of the planet, and the exact age that I advocate for it to be. If you think that’s such a problem, go do something about it. If you were too fucking stupid to know whether or not you wanted to have sex with a person when you were 16 years old, go get on the mic at city hall, tell them so, and that you think it needs to be higher. Not that I’m not flattered that your literal entire pathetic life revolves around me, but it’d be more productive than spending all your time obsessing about me, looking for me, harassing me, stalking me.

          Sorry to burst your bubble, but you actually don’t take up very much of my time or thoughts.

          And if you’re the advocate, where are you being productive? Cursing people out and using ai to make arguments on social media is helping people how?

          If you were legit, you’d be legit. You are just fishing for validation that what you feel normal, and the whole youth advocacy spin is to flip it and make it about the young people. It’s very obvious to anyone who catches more than one or two of your comments.

          You either have the emotional maturity of a teen, are a predator, or both.

              I also think you know I’m not going to do anything besides try to disrupt your public social media presence with various trolling and calling you out.

              I DONT know that you don’t, or won’t, act on the impulses you’ve shared. I’m just doing my part to be an obstacle if that’s your goal.
