!rwby@sh.itjust.works has been weirdly active lately, which is a nice surprise. I would’ve thought the community would be mostly dormant until Volume 10.
ヾ(´・ω・`) hi that’s me. I know it’s an uphill battle but I’m trying to drum up activity b/c all my other social hangouts have been thoroughly enshittified (notably the recent changes to Discord and Reddit) and want a spot I can talk about my blorbos.
Thanks for your efforts! I know that feeling well friend, my main social media used to be Reddit and Twitter.
!gothindustrial@lemmy.world has been going well. I’m posting memes and comics 3x a week, Hermit Lailoken posts music and videos almost daily, and also exciting: like 5 or 6 others are posting music links occasionally. We’re starting to get a bit of discussion going on too, which is nice. In one case I helped another person design a meme in comments, which was then posted, which was a lot of fun.
!spooky_memes@lemmy.world is starting to stir since Halloween is just a couple months away, and I’m thinking of scheduling 1-2 posts a week.
Just two weeks til another sumo tournament starts, and hopefully !sumo@lemmy.world will come back to life!!?!!
Good news!
Not mine; but wondering about consolidating !dullsters@dullsters.net and !dull_mens_club@lemmy.world. I personally favor the former because I post there and because I’d feel weird signing up for !dull_mens_club as a woman—I imagine I’m not the only one who would feel that way. Inclusivity is good. Then again I have never been in !dull_mens_club, so… Will probably make an actual post for it here later.
!blood_donors@healthy.community is still mostly me yelling into the void that I accomplished a donation and feeling guilty because it looks so much like humble bragging. But what the hell else would I post? People sometimes comment a thank you, and I wonder how much is because people on stuff like Mastodon are seeing my post since I ensure they are hashtagged with #blooddonors and similar tags (thanks PieFed). I miss r/blooddonors. I seem to remember an inactive community for blood donors at one point and might look into consolidation too.
