Interesting read, sortition had always been an example of “wacky” governing theories, I didn’t realise it had such an established track record. The main linch pin I see for this sort of government is who enforces/facilitates the selection of delegates and the transfer of power. There would need to be a lot of checks to make sure that body doesn’t become the true power holders.
