I don’t get why people don’t just block the community for their account and be done with it. Why ask for it to be blocked for everyone on the instance?
Unless it’s CSAM/similar content or an instance with major bots/troll problem I think the choice should be left to each user of the instance whether they want to see or block communities.
If thats how it worked then we’d still be federated with Hexbear: fuck that.
