I see bot accounts from username cm0002 on many different instances. At least on the communities I see/moderate, the content is legit, so this is not a complaint, just curiosity.

I’ve seen them reply to comments with what appears to be a human response. Try looking at the comment history on some of those accounts. Maybe they will reply to you? Also I forget, does an @ mention work on Lemmy?
