LOL Paraguay, that one is hard to believe, but probably most of the Chinese trade isn’t in the official figures… as long as I can remember, Paraguay has been known by its neighbors for being a hub for cheap Chinese knockoff products. It’s a huge market, and they have been the local supplier to cheap stores across the whole region, and I know that well because I worked in Ciudad del Este as a fall guy in my teenage years. And the stuff is cheap for being tax-free, and it’s tax-free because it’s contraband :)
