I noticed no open source projects link back to their lemmy communities. For example, GIMP’s social networks link does not list the GIMP community on lemmy world. See here: https://www.gimp.org/discuss.html#social-networks
I think these projects are not aware that a community for their project exists on Lemmy. If we contacted them to add links, I think it would help grow these communities and help people find them.

I must be on an instance that blocks those. I think it blocks political posts as well?
All those people have alt accounts. Lemmy is a cesspool. This is why projects don’t use it.
