Mount Fuji has got to be the most photogenic mountain on the planet. I hope one day to be able to visit your country and hope one day you can visit mine.
I know there have been specific times you have been able to see the aurora borealis in norther Michigan, but I’m uncertain if it’s visible often.
While the large deciduous trees are gorgeous they are very sad in the winter. A coniferous forest stays beautiful year round.
Telluride Colorado has a particularly amazing fall season due to the mix of tree types, so you get the changing autumn leaves mixed with the vibrant evergreens.

In fact, for the past 10 years, I’ve been working on “natural regeneration” here, restoring the natural cycle of my forest.
While it’s true that the sight of deciduous trees dormant in winter can be a little lonely, I’ve come to appreciate that “stillness” as a necessary part of the cycle for the arrival of a vibrant spring.
Telluride (Colorado), with its mix of conifers and autumn leaves, is a dream location for any photographer.
I’ll definitely add it to my list of places I want to visit! Seeing the aurora borealis in Michigan has also become one of my big dreams.
