How would that work?
If I understand correctly, microscopic dendrites tend to grow out of the lithium ion mass when charging, which can compromise the outer protective layer of the power cell, depending on how that’s constructed.
That has the possibility to start dangerous fires. I just don’t know how common such a thing is.
