Thats roughly the same as my car and yeah its about 2-3 min to fill, but i agree with that guy. I never just stand there holding it, use the lever to lock it and walk around for the few minutes. It releases its self once full so i cant think of any reason why i would want to stand there holding it.

Also this is only when i go on trips since i live in 1 of only 2 states that require attendants to pump our gas for us… i hate it and would rather do it myself. They are normally understaffed so they take forever to get to you and normally in a bad mood.

A few Shell stations near me started experimenting with staff who’ll pump your fuel for you at no extra charge - and they’ll even top off your washer- or blinker fluid if you want. You can tip them if you feel like it, but it’s “optional.”

Well, we Finns aren’t exactly the most outgoing bunch, so tons of people just stopped going to those stations altogether. I think they’ve quietly ended the experiment by now and let folks pump their own gas again.

Its very annoying moving to the UK where those locks are always disabled, so you HAVE to squeeze the handle the whole time. One place even disabled the auto-stop when the tank is full, so you always spill a little.
