I don’t remember if it’s this invasion or the second one but Ghost of Tsushima has a battle like this at the beginning of the game. It’s pretty brutal and epic.
OP-- I suppose I could try to reverse image-match these to find out, but I’m curious if there’s a commonality to so many of these classic battle pics? Same artist or same type of themed style?
Many of them are commissioned by Osprey Publishing, specializing in military history, which probably has guidelines and the like. There are also recurring artists on here - the late Angus McBride is one of them.
