A few days ago we announced that because we link to communities containing material regulated by UK’s Online Safety Act (OSA), the act would require us to implement age verification, a burden we cannot take on. In response we made the difficult choice to block UK IP addresses from accessing the login and registration pages.

France’s Sécurité et Régulation de l’Espace Numérique Act (SREN) essentially would require us to do the same, and therefore we have also, much to our chagrin, restricted France IP addresses from accessing the login and registration pages as well.
