I’m wondering if Putin want one-on-one with Trump cause that is the only way he can manipulate him. I’m imagining a room with EU reps, Zelenskyy, Trump and Putin. The only one not speaking english would be Putin.
That combined with Trumps attention span and tendency to agree with whoever he spoke to last and could understand, would make it hard for Putin to tell him what to do.
If i had to speak to Trump, that would be my approach too.
Russia is that one neighbour that is constantly messing with you, cause they want you to move away, so they get a better view or something. Only that there is no guarantee that they won’t escalate to murdering you. Neighbouring countries has to spend a bunch of resources just to manage the constant sabotaging and messing around.
I wish Russia could just become a normal functioning democracy already. Cooperation brings prosperity.
So they are just trying to make it harder for military decision makers in Ukraine. Stoping an advance, forcing them to pull back, delaying an operation. Malice.
So every dude there is haggling and taking their sweet time, now that the price of gas is high.
